Dr. Kym Grant-Horsey, DM/IST, is an accomplished STEM expert, dynamic speaker, and respected adjunct professor recognized for her passionate commitment to empowering communities through education and technology. With an engaging and motivational approach, Dr. Grant-Horsey delivers essential insights on STEM topics that inspire her audience to pursue focused, impactful growth.
A pioneering figure in her field, Dr. Grant-Horsey holds the distinction of being the first Black female engineer within several organizations throughout her career. This groundbreaking journey led her to conduct a unique ethnographic study, Black American Women in STEM Finding Their Voice, which highlights the experiences of Black American women in STEM and the specific challenges they face. Her research underscores her commitment to fostering inclusivity and representation within the STEM community.
Dr. Grant-Horsey is driven by a vision: Empowering Communities Through Sustainable Innovation: Bridging Education, Business, and Technology for Global Impact.
